We’re looking for an amazing Digital Merchandiser to fill this role. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, WA. As our Digital Merchandizer you’ll own the merchandising strategy and digital experiences required for us to drive ecommerce digital sales and enhance customer experiences through effective merchandising strategies and personalized web experiences. You’ll be accountable for on-time, on-brand executions of promotions, campaigns, experiences and tests on pages across HollandAmerica.com and related properties. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring end-to-end alignment with public and private campaigns by working closely with Marketing and Creative teams. Finally, you’ll be accountable for the optimization of digital merchandising experiences by developing an optimization strategy, creating variations, executing A/B tests, and reviewing and leveraging analytics to maximize direct revenue. Responsibilities
Creating Digital Experiences:
Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies and web experiences for enhanced promotion and product visibility to drive increased digital sales and conversion
Collaborate with various teams to align merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches
Utilize data to analyze current performance and identify A/B testing and optimization opportunities
Ensure accurate, up-to-date promotional and product details across the site
Contribute to SEO efforts by optimizing site content for search engine visibility
Collaborates with engineering, product, and UX/UI teams on new site features and components
Employs technical and design skills along with digital interaction knowledge to ensure effectiveness and consistency in digital experiences
Maintains consistent brand design and functional experience by adhering to style and format guidelines and other digital standards
Ensures quality and accuracy by proofing own work, participating in proving reviews by others, and revising materials as needed
Participates in the ongoing effectiveness and efficiency of our content management and digital publishing systems and processes.
Creating Personalized Experiences:
Identify user segments and opportunities to customize experiences and deliver incremental revenue for priority guest segments based on business needs
Create segments in our Customer Data Platform (CDP)
Design, implement, and optimize personalization experiences, collaborating with developers, brand, and creative
Create dashboards, provide reports, conduct relevant analyses, and identify opportunities on personalized activity performance
Testing and Optimization:
Utilizes data to analyze current performance and identify A/B testing and optimization opportunities
Designs and supports testing initiatives, collaborating with developers, brand, and creative
Participates in regular optimization of HollandAmerica.com and related merchandising activities by responding to testing data and analysis
Create dashboards, provide reports, conduct analyses, and identify opportunities based on testing results
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Facilitate effective communication between marketing, creative, and revenue management
Present strategies, plans, and results to leadership, program owners, and supporting stakeholders
An influential leader within the team who provides support and fosters skill development among colleagues
Innovation and Trends:
Stay informed about eCommerce trends, best practices, and industry innovations
Propose and implement innovative merchandising experiences and solutions that leverage new technologies
Contribute to the development of forward-thinking merchandising strategies

Reviews daily emails regarding miscellaneous topics and answers appropriately
Leads, represents the team, and/or participates in meetings, weekly, monthly, and quarterly
Requirements
5+ years’ experience designing, managing, and publishing eCommerce digital experiences in a fast-paced environment. Previous consumer Ecommerce design experience is required.
5+ years’ experience in digital layout, assembly, and production of pages and features that drive business goals and meet customers' needs
5+ years’ experience in personalization-related activities and A/B testing and optimization. Experience identifying and building user segments a plus.
3+ years’ experience utilizing analytics tools, creating dashboards, and delivering performance reports related to measurement of content, merchandising experiences, and/or A/B tests. Experience in Adobe Analytics a plus
Proven experience as a Web Merchandiser in a related environment
Strong proficiency in digital management tools, such as AEM, Asana, Adobe Target, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
Deep understanding of the digital journey, customer segments, and user-centered design methods
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently from the inception stage through launch
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Superb interpersonal and teamwork skills are required for collaboration with management, other departments, agencies, designers and colleagues

Base Salary Range: $67,800.00-$91,500.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
