Your key responsibilities

• Technical supportSupports customers in applying DSM products. Performs trouble shooting activities and supports product rationalization & replacement. Answers technical questions of customers, distributors and own sales force about products and applications. Plays and important role in understanding customer complaints.

• Technical knowledge managementAssures the technical knowledge available within DSM on products and applications is made available to Sales via pro-active interactions with the PAD/S and any other technical knowledge centers (like local technical institutes)

• Scanning business opportunities & innovationIdentifies opportunities of products in his / her scope at (existing) customer base. Monitors and shares competitive and customer technical developments, new applications and new products. Supports DFS innovation by scanning for business opportunities in the market and initiate customized application development.

• Product launchesSupports account managers and market development managers with product introductions to new and existing clients and comes with suggestions to improve product positioning and commercialization based upon earlier results.

• Application development (dependent upon application area and region)

  Supports in develops new applications to demonstrate product functionality for new and/or existing products. Tests the functionality of new products and compares functionality with competitors’ products (internal and external).

  You bring

• Educational level: Master ’ s degree

• Knowledge of and experience in relevant discipline: Major in food or biology fermentation

• Work experiences: 8 years and above experience in food industries, technical and processing knowledge of the products
