Job Description

You will play a crucial role in delivering critical business value and ensuring safe, engaging, and meaningful experiences for the LEGO Group’saudiences.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community moderation,trustand safety strategy across all earned and owned platforms globally, incorporating efficient usage of AI tools, internalteamsand external vendors, to ensure high-quality user experiences grow trust andmaintainpositive brandperception

  • Establish clear community guidelines and terms of service tailored to each platform and audience type, considering the risk levels, digitalsafetyand moderation requirements

  • Collaborate closely with the internal product team and lead external vendors, ensuring a robust and consistent moderation set-up across all existing and new platforms for kids and grown-ups

  • Collaborate with external brand partners, regional and local marketing teams, to ensure co-branded channels and local communities are moderated in line withoursafety and user experience standards

  • Regularly audit and hands-on review of our communities, toidentifyoptimisationopportunities, improve efficiency and mitigate risks

  • Advocate for user and business needs to internal partners, providing regular reporting and insights on the impact of moderation, user sentiment, and potential difficulties

  • Collaborate with our Knowledge and Training team to implement training programs and guidance documents to improve moderation skills and understanding across the broader team and business

  • Influence the delivery of key strategic priorities, by being an active member of the extended Community Management and Moderation Leadership Team, bringingexpertiseon moderation, encouraginginnovationand promoting a culture of excellence

Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant experiencein a similar role within a complex, globalorganisation

  • In depth understanding of digital communities, AI moderation tools, community engagement and social media platforms

  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in digital worlds, including collaborating with relevant partners to optimally manage and mitigate crisis comms and issues management scenarios

  • Awareness and understanding of different audienceneeds’and relevant safety considerations, including knowledge of child safety laws and ethical considerations

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working across multiple layers,timezonesand global locations

  • Strong strategic, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English
