The Digital Cloud Acquisition team drives growth for Microsoft by helping customers realize the value of the Microsoft Cloud. Responsibilities

Role Purpose

As a CSA within Microsoft’s Digital Cloud Acquisition Customer Success Program, you will be empowered to shape customer relationships for a strategic set of Microsoft's SMB customers. Customers seeking to adopt industry-leading products and services for their businesses, education systems, or governments. Owning the customer relationship and advocating on their behalf, you will serve as their central point of contact into Microsoft. You will enable their business for success by orchestrating cross business engagements, driving technical enablement capabilities through the customer’s Azure investment, and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers while enabling growth and preventing churn.

  • Strategic Planning: Work collaboratively with your portfolio of customers to align their business goals and technical requirements with Azure's capabilities and services, enabling their business and IT decision makers to make informed decisions and drive successful outcomes.

  • Solution Guidance: Led, guide and help your customers explore Azure's vast array of capabilities, provide recommendations on the most suitable services to meet their specific needs of for their organisations and businesses, and provide strategic insight on solution enablement.

  • Technical Advisory: Become your customer’s Trusted Advisor within Microsoft. Whether it's determining the suitability of a service, outlining the technical requirements of a solution implementation, discussing best practices, or optimising their Azure infrastructure, your goal is to provide advice and direction on any technical questions they may have.

  • Leverage Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework: Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework provides technical best practice guidance across five pillars – cost optimisation, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and operational excellence. Applying your technical knowledge, experience and skill, partner closely with your customer’s decision makers to ensure their Azure workloads are operating effectively, efficiently, and are delivering maximum value to their businesses.

  • Connected Customer Experience – Engage, collaborate, and orchestrate across Microsoft (Engineering, Partner, Support, etc.) to support a “One Microsoft” approach to customer engagement, enablement, and implementation.

  • Enablement and Skilling: Help your customer’s organisations and technical teams stay up to date with the latest Azure advancements through enablement activities and events, training sessions, workshops, and sharing relevant resources.

  • Tech Intensity: Maintain a high degree of technical competency in one of the following areas: Cloud Strategies, Infrastructure and Networking, Cyber Security, Data, AI/ML, Development and Application Modernisation, Migration and Implementation, DevOps; with the capability of engaging in deeply technical discussions, architecture reviews and recommendations, development and SLM best practices, and next-generation technology investment (HPC, QC, IoT, Data, AI/ML, Security, Infrastructure, etc.)

Required Qualifications

* Professional:*

  • 5+ years proven experience in solution/technical selling with hands-on experience in technical architecture, technical consulting, solution design and implementation, pre- and post-sales support, with exposure/experience in sales negotiation, or related work or internship experience.

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ year(s) proven experience in one or more of the following: designing architecture, networking, container services, data centre migrations or database administration, design and architect experience in data analytics, coding/development, cloud-based solution designs, migrations, or management of technology.

Technical:

  • 3+ year(s) proven experience in one or more of the following: designing architecture, networking, container services, data centre migrations or database administration, design and architect experience in data analytics, coding/development, cloud-based solution designs, migrations, or management of technology.

  • Relevant certifications from Microsoft of competitive platforms of similar product (e.g., AZ104 + AZ303/304 or AZ305 or able to achieve certification within six (6) months of start.

  • OR equivalent certifications on competitive platforms (AWS, GCP)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM related field.

  • OR Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in a non-Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, STEM related field AND 3+ year(s) experience solution/technical selling with hands-on experience in technical architecture, technical consulting, solution design and implementation, pre- and post-sales support, with exposure/experience in sales negotiation, or related work or internship experience.

  • OR 8+ year(s) equivalent experience.

Language:

  •  Proficiency in English.
