Humana Account Management Professional - VSP in Tallahassee, Florida

The Account Management Professional 1 is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Account Management Professional 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

The Account Management Professional 1 will have a strong knowledge of benefit offerings and will communicate these effectively with our employers and membership. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Time management is extremely important. Strong verbal and presentation skills with delivering effective messaging to a variety of clients.

This position is a great opportunity to work with the Humana Specialty Group Benefits Team.

This role is a Variable Staffing Pool position - hours could vary weekly.

Required Qualifications

  • Florida health and life license

  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to conduct effective presentations

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • General computer skills including demonstrated experience with data entry

  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

  • Ability to travel within the tri-county area primarily (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach) and flexibility for additional business travel as needed. Will receive travel reimbursement.

  • This role is a Variable Staffing Pool position - hours could vary weekly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field

  • Bilingual (Spanish or Creole a plus)

  • Will be transporting Marketing materials and other supplies as needed

Additional Information

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$52,500 - $72,300 per year
