• An experienced Engineer to work as a Bid Managers in Marine, Fiber, and Oil & Gas verticals

• Work with proposal and execution team during Pre-Bid & Post-Bid Project stages supporting the team to

o Review requirement specifications and prepare technical specifications for customer offer

o Align with internal partners and SCM for bought out components to prepare cost Estimation for the project.

o Carry independent evaluation of technical requirements/specifications for Motors, VFD’s, Transformer, HT switchboard, LT switchboard and automation system.

o Understanding on plant engineering topic

o Knowledge of Electrical standards

• Collaborate with Engineering team for technical evaluation during the project cycle

• Support project team for scheduling and expediting project during execution cycle

• Responsible for maintaining proposal register and reports to the proposal team lead for internal reporting and reviews.

• Work on standardization of proposal and estimation tools/formats.

• Role involves 40% travelling.

• Manage database:

o Record of Proposal documents

o Updates/Version control for Proposal formats

o Proposal Timelines

• Understanding of customer requirement & offering solutions.

• Electrical project Tendering activities as EPC Contractor.

• Meeting with client / consultant for their queries, issues during bidding stage. Preparation of enquiries, offer, tender documents.

• Technical discussion with Electricity Board & final load analysis approval.

• IS/IEC/IE standards for selection/sizing of equipment’s.

• To prepare the Key Single Line Diagram, Preparation of design basis for project, Preparation of detail Scope of Supply as per Specification, Preparation of document control index, inspection categorization, project plan.

• Preparation of Tech. Specification of various Electrical Equipment’s i.e. data sheets for Transformer, DG Set, switchyard equipment’s, MV/LV/VFD/SST/Control panels, Drives, motors, DC system, Field equipment such as cables, cable trays, earthing, lighting etc.

• Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis & motor Acceleration, System Fault level calculation, Sizing calculations of transformer. Sizing calculations of HT/LT capacitors. Sizing calculations of DC system. Sizing calculation, emergency DG Set, Sizing calculations for Bus bar, CT/PT sizing calculations. NGR Temperature rise & sizing calculations. Heat load loss calculations. HT/LT cable sizing calculations for continuous current, steady & starting voltage drop calculations by analytical & vector method. Preparation of cable schedule. Earthing & lightning protection & zoning details. Cable trays sizing calculations. Illumination calculations. Area lighting design such as street lighting, room lighting & industrial lighting. Electrical input/output details for SCADA/DCS/PLC. Relay co-ordination concept.

• Know how & understanding of Electrical equipment layout (Sub station Room) cable tray routing & Cable trench layout. cable gallery arrangement & load details as input to civil. Earthing & lightning protection layout lighting layout. PV, AC system layout. Civil work guide layout.

• Know how & understanding of Installation & Commissioning of equipment’s & Shut down activities.

• Know how & understanding of Civil & Structural Work.

• BE/BTech/Diploma – Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Industrial Electronics

• 8 years+ in Proposal for projects involving electrical components/systems across electrical and automation field with basic engineering know how.

• Project proposals knowledge for the named verticals will be an added advantage.

• Has been part of a team working on similar role
