HTC Global Services, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Jr. Developer (Ref# JRD425SG) to work in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.  

Job Duties:  Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards for client/server and web-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Involved in requirement analysis, design, development and coding, testing and quality assurance, post implementation support, documentation, and user training. Identify the client's requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional / technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Analyze business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client's requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by development team. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements. Design efficient code using updated frameworks. Prepare test plan based on the system requirements specification. Perform various testing techniques to ensure quality of the applications. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality. Prepare system requirements specification documents.Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software. Train users in application development techniques.Use of Agile, Java, J2EE, Spring, Web Services, JavaScript, WebSphere, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, SQL, and Windows. Travel and/or relocation required.

Requirements:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with Java and Spring. 40hrs/week.
