Management Concepts, Inc. seeks a passionate, visionary, and experienced individual to represent the company as a Leadership Subject Matter Expert. This individual will be working on projects and initiatives within the Learning Services Department that provide federal leaders with a multi-discipline, outcome-based, competency-focused experiential learning journey. Experiential learning better prepares federal leaders to immediately apply leadership frameworks, concepts, and approaches to what they’re experiencing on the job. These experiences equip agencies with mission-focused solution makers who enable their teams to meet mission requirements. These experiences focus on the leader as a whole person; who they are at work, at home, and in their communities.

In this position, you will be responsible for responsible for the design and implementation of leadership development programs designed to support our federal customers. The successful candidate will partner with customer stakeholders to address organizational needs and competencies, design comprehensive plans, and implement and continuously improve and evolve federal leadership and development programs.

You will also be called on to apply your leadership expertise as the subject matter expert (SME) by participating in the development of program course materials, including but not limited to web-based learning events, program scenarios, program learning materials, and program coaching activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the Learning Services strategic leadership development services program design and delivery, including the research and creation of program roadmaps, project documentation, process mapping, and data tracking.

  • Collaborate with federal customers to understand business needs, recommend solutions, and act as a catalyst for implementing meaningful leadership development programs.

  • Design and deploy effective and impactful learning experiences and programs that can be delivered to our federal customers.

  • Develop learning and development programs using various delivery formats including group discussion, asynchronous, virtual/remote, and in-person instructor-led.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovations in leadership and talent development

  • Integrate leadership and talent development initiatives with broader Management Concept’s Workforce Development Solutions in both methodology development and program design and delivery.

  • Drive innovation in leadership and talent development processes, bringing fresh ideas to our customers.

  • Leverage data analytics to gather insights, measure program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Train customer stakeholders on program(s) rollout, monitor, and evaluate effectiveness, including demonstrated adoption.

  • Support the growth of new leadership development work through participation throughout the business development lifecycle.

    Experience and Skills Required:

    · Demonstrated subject matter expertise in federal leadership development.

    · Proven ability to work independently with initiative, to be resourceful and self-motivated and proactively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptionally strong administrative, and organizational skills; commitment to detail, methodology, and accuracy; effective time management and prioritization skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on proactivity, clarity, thoroughness, and diligence.

    · Demonstrated strong critical thinking skills necessary to create innovative and creative solutions to the organization's mission needs and issues.

    · Proven characteristics of intellectual curiosity, responsibility, determination, creativity, flexibility, drive, and self-confidence.

  • Ability to maintain discretion and integrity of confidential and sensitive information.

    EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND

  • 10+ years’ experience designing and deploying leadership development programs and competencies across the talent management lifecycle. Preferably within a global organization.

    · Minimum of 5 years leading teams in the federal space.

    · Strong understanding of leadership competencies, talent assessment methodologies, and adult learning theories.

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION

  • A Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field of study

  • PMP (a plus)

  • ICF (a plus)
