HP Inc. Consumer Services Senior Financial Analyst in Vancouver, Washington

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support HP Consumer Services & Solutions, a key strategic priority of the company. HP Consumer Services spans both the PC and Print segments and is currently spearheaded by our flagship subscription service called HP Instant Ink, with over 13M customers worldwide. Additional services include consumer carepacks, Smartfriend, and the brand-new DTC (Direct to Customer) HP All-In Program which bundles a consumer printer, Instant Ink, and support into a simple monthly subscription.

This position will provide someone a breadth of excellent experiences through full P&L analysis, evaluating balance sheet impacts, and new services development. The candidate should have proven experience in complex financial modeling and partnering with business teams to deliver results. The candidate's critical thinking ability, judgement and experience will be important in the role. They will provide financial advisory and consulting recommendations on key processes & decisions. Prior experience in a subscription and service business is highly desired for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Support geographic expansion of existing services.

  • Drive rigorous financial research for new consumer subscription offerings.

  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure new services are automated and financially compliant across the value chain.

  • Update and establish long-term per unit customer economic models.

  • Forecasting and financial planning.

  • Provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives.

  • Collaborates with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.

  • Performs complex and occasionally highly complex financial analysis, utilizing strong business understanding effectively.

  • Supports executive reviews & quarterly strategic reviews.

  • Effectively communicate across global organizations.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated business acumen

  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)

Per the Washington, USA statute, the estimated range of compensation for this job in that location , at the time of this posting, is $105,000 - $143,000 annual. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
