Responsibilities

• Deliver power market intelligence - providing insight to the wider AES commercial team on trends, risks and developments.

• Monitor operational assets to ensure AES extracts maximum value and provide concise MI on commercial KPI’s.

• Support the Senior Commercial Analyst and Commercial Manager with accessing all available revenue streams (Contracts for Difference, Capacity Market and REGOs).

• Ensure a smooth transition into operations for all AES development assets.

• Support AES’ metering requirements and help establish a robust commercial billing process.

• Support the wider AES team on all pricing assumptions used in all modelling (forecasts, budgets, M&A, development models).

What we’re looking for

• Experience working in a similar role within the UK energy market.

• Settlement experience would be an advantage.

• Demonstrate analytical curiosity with a high level of attention detail.

• Flexibility and a willingness to contribute on a range of projects/applications.

• Have a drive to learn and develop new skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Be able to cut through complex subject matters to provide actionable commercial insights from a variety of datasets and self-conducted analysis.
