Who We Are Seeking

Left Field Labs is looking for a Senior Producer to play a lead role in the day-to-day management of our digital and experiential client projects. We’re looking for someone with exceptional project management, technical, and communication skills to help us deliver a high quality event experience, while ensuring the project remains on time and on budget. 

You’re a creative, proactive individual who thrives at leading complex projects from inception to event launch. You have excellent organizational skills, are solutions-focused, independent, and know how to get things done while being considerate of your team’s workload. Foresight and adaptability are key to this role, to keep the team on track, while managing potential risks, blockers, or shifts in project scope. You excel when putting on your “client-facing” hat, as you work directly with client stakeholders.

Your daily responsibilities include leading and supporting the internal team, while managing project schedule, budget, deliverables, and resourcing. Every step of the way, you’ll have the opportunity to provide digital expertise and experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage mid to large-scale experiential projects from start to finish, with clear understanding and responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget and profitability

  • Oversee day-to-day workflow of cross-functional project team of animators, creative technologists, developers and other project leads to ensure work is executed as planned

  • Source, onboard and oversee a network of vendors, fabricators and other key partners 

  • Generate and manage project budget and vendor costs, proactively anticipate project risks and scope creep, and identity solutions to address them in advance

  • Understand and document project requirements and dependencies

  • Serve as primary day-to-day client contact and build strong client relationships through proactive and clear communication

  • Follow LFL’s standard project management processes, including utilizing LFL tools & templates

  • Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

    What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Required 7+ years experience as an event producer at an interactive or experiential agency or similar 

  • Strong technical knowledge of experiential production including logistics, fabrication, installation and AV logistics

  • Experience working with motion graphics artists and strong understanding of content creation workflows 

  • Comfortable working onsite with clients and vendors, while managing load-in, live event days and load-out

  • Client-facing experience, acting as key point of contact for day to day project communications with senior-level stakeholders  

  • Strong working knowledge of audiovisual, lighting and interactive technology for diverse range of experiential projects 

  • Understanding of web technologies, third party applications and platforms. Experience working with Unity developers, a plus 

  • Team player with a positive, realistic attitude and strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous and/or competing priorities

  • Can work independently in a deadline-sensitive and fast-paced environment 

  • Highly organized with an eye for details

  • Experience managing projects with a distributed team

  • Previous experience supporting an Executive Producer in recommending, documenting, training, and/or implementing new workflows that enable Event Services team to scale efficiently 

    The salary range for this role is $100,000-$145,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
