Quorum Office Clerk (Part time) in Washington, District Of Columbia

As an Office Clerk , reporting to the Sr. Director of People, you’ll be responsible for completing office tasks and administrative duties while supporting the team and company. The ideal candidate is highly organized and accurate, pays strong attention to detail, and enjoys administration tasks on site in our office. This position is considered an individual contributor who collaborates with other team members and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Sorts, scans, and distributes company incoming mail to the appropriate team or team member, promptly and accurately.

  • Ship packages and forward outgoing mail on occasion.

  • Operates office equipment such as scanners, printers, and photocopiers.

  • Submit monthly expense reports via Expensify, reporting and compiling receipts to upload and submit for review and approval.

  • Coordinate Work From Work Wednesday catering for the DC office via Relish.

  • Ensures the office environment is neat and orderly at all times, including organization of office areas, stocking pantries with drinks, snacks and supplies, watering any plants, and informing management of any onsite issues and reports to property management if needed.

  • Effectively communicates to other team members and teams when appropriate regarding coordination of IT equipment, office supplies, event preparation and clean up, and other various office activities as needed.

  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and organizing documents.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience of 1 year with similar role in an office environment.

  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures.

  • Proficiency in speaking and writing English with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all team members.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and be detail oriented in an office environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be local to Washington, D.C., and available for in-office work.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour USD

  • This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly role with up to 10 hours per week
