KBR is seeking a Program Support Associate to support the Houston Engineering, Logistics and Operations (HELO) organization. The candidate will be a direct report to the Special Project Office Department Manager and support HELO Program Management Office (PMO) Team, and all associated support tasks. The Program Support Associate will primarily be responsible for verifying the scope & risks of incoming support requests. The Program Associate will assist with scheduling, planning, resourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within specification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review/assess the scope & risks of incoming directives (i.e., Change Requests (CRs), Program Technical Directives (PTDs), etc.) and Requests for Support (RFS).

  • Assist project engineers and Business Management with proposals and trade study estimates.

  • Maintain schedules and provide assistance & oversight to ensure assigned projects & contract deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

  • Interface with KBR management, internal customers, One EVA and NASA.

  • Provide representation to internal and external boards, meetings, and panels as required.

  • Prepare metrics and charts related to Program reporting as required.

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • Candidate must be motivated and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Candidate must be flexible in an environment of changing requirements and work well within a team environment.

  • The candidate must be able to develop presentations on demand and produce quality results.

  • Good working PC knowledge with a working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other common office environment software packages.

  • Candidate must be familiar with KBR systems resources.

  • Candidate must also have an exposure to EVA Operations and International Space Station (ISS) programs.

  • Candidate must have experience with developing and prioritizing high-level department project scheduling based on technical and project delivery milestones.

  • The candidate must be willing to work off hours and weekends as required.

  • Candidate must have also had exposure to reporting and resolving schedule discrepancies with project deliverables.

  • The candidate must be willing to work off hours and weekends as required.

  • In addition, the candidate must be able to perform other duties, as may be required.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree plus 5 applicable years of experience,
