Registered Investment Sales Assistant - Wealth Management WESTFIELD, MA \$44,467.44 - \$66,851.16 Annually Department: Wealth Management Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Exempt Grade: 8 Reports to: VP/Wealth & Production Management Amount of Travel Required: Travel as required Positions Supervised: N/A POSITION SUMMARY Under the general direction of the Vice President, Wealth and Product Management, the Registered Investment Sales Assistant works closely with Financial Advisor(s) to perform all daily tasks required for transactions related to the investment of client accounts located with the broker/dealer. The registered investment Sales Assistant must adhere to regulatory compliance standards at all times. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Ensures client relationships are deepened and maintained and proactively support the Financial Advisor(s) in the sales and service process. Provides excellent client service though communication with Wealth Management clients via mailings, email and telephone calls, documenting as required. Serve as point of contact between clients, Financial Advisor(s) and broker/dealer, promptly responding to all client service requests. Initiates new account openings, provides advice and performs investment transactions for clients. Assists Financial Advisor(s) in processing and recording all transactions relating to client accounts on the Broker/Dealer operation system and in maintaining accurate reports on selected accounts not reported on the Broker/Dealer system. Records product trade for the Investment Advisor Representatives\' clients as needed. Assists with investment profiles and product placement process. Maintains ongoing SEC/FINRA compliance standards by attending product educational and compliance meetings/seminars. Attends monthly departmental meetings and assists in coordinating client seminars and employee training. Prepares routine correspondence and is primary telephone liaison for incoming telephone communication to department officers and clients. Performs other clerical and investment related functions as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competencies Communication Customer Relations Dependability Ethics Job Knowledge Productivity Education/Experience/Skills License Requirements: MA & CT Life & Health Insurance, FINRA Series 6 and 63. Bachelor Degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years of financial services experience. Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word Excel & Access. Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, clients and management. Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and possess excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills. Demonstrate confidentiality and discretion with respect to all client and firm information.
